Join us at Beattie Powers Place for the return of pianist Vladimir Rumyantsev, just weeks before his appearance at Carnegie Hall. Experience this acclaimed artist up close in Catskill as he performs a program featuring Rachmaninoff and virtuosic transcriptions of Liszt, Tchaikovsky, and Strauss.
A prizewinner at major international competitions, Rumyantsev has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician in concert halls from Moscow to New York, China to Bermuda. He has also toured internationally with Twyla Tharp Dance for her Diamond Jubilee. His artistry has been praised by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Gramophone, and other leading publications.
