Beattie Powers Place

An 1837 Greek Revival Mansion, located within the Beattie-Powers Place, a Village of Catskill Park with sweeping views of the Hudson River and Olana.

Stroll the grounds, enjoy a picnic, explore the gardens, or go sledding in winter. Find a bench to relax and take in the seasonal changes, outdoor sculptures, and sweeping views of the Hudson River and the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. Look east to see Olana, the historic home of Hudson River School painter Frederic Church. Open daily from dawn to dusk, the park welcomes visitors year-round. From spring through late fall, our intimate parlors host exceptional concerts in jazz, classical, and bluegrass, as well as engaging lectures on topics from landscape design to baseball history, and exhibitions by renowned artists.
