We’re thrilled to welcome our dear friend Rebecca Novack as she reads from her debut novel and talks craft, ideas, and obsession with Jonny Diamond. Novack grew up in Colorado, holds a master’s in theological studies from Harvard Divinity School, and now lives in New York’s Hudson Valley with her husband and two young children.
In Murder Bimbo, a 32-year-old sex worker has just killed extremist political hopeful Meat Neck. Holed up in an off-the-grid cabin, she has only two days, her wits, and a high-speed internet connection to save herself. Her best hope is the wildly popular feminist podcast Justice for Bimbos, which she contacts through a frantic series of emails detailing her alleged recruitment by a shadowy group of U.S. agents. But when she begins writing to her ex-girlfriend, cracks appear in her story—and we start to question who Murder Bimbo really is, and what she’ll do next.
