Join us on Saturday, April 11th at 3 pm at the historic Beattie-Powers Place to hear Gabriel Martins on cello. He returns to Beattie with a glorious program including his own compositions, as well as his arrangement of J.S. Bach’s Ciaccona from Partita No. 2 in D Minor.
Gabriel Martins’ musical approach has been described as “a rare combination of intellectual clarity, emotional depth, and genuine humility” (Cultural Attaché). This award-winning young artist has performed as a soloist with symphony orchestras across the U.S. and abroad, and has given recitals at Carnegie Hall and the 92nd Street Y (New York), Maison Symphonique (Montréal), Wigmore Hall (London), and across Asia.
