Renowned pianist Wael Farouk will present the complete Scriabin Piano Sonatas across two captivating concerts.
Egyptian-American pianist Wael Farouk, praised as a “formidable and magnificent pianist” by the New York Concert Review, is known for ambitious projects, including performing Rachmaninoff’s first three concertos in one evening—a “history-making concert” (Chicago Tribune). With a repertoire of over 70 concertos and 60 solo programs, he has appeared with major orchestras worldwide and performed the complete works of composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, and Scriabin. A Fulbright Fellow and graduate of institutions in Cairo, Washington, D.C., and New Jersey, Farouk currently teaches at the Manhattan School of Music and Roosevelt University.
