Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the museum with an afternoon of crafting, tours, and sips. Participants will enjoy a guided tour of the historic Main House, where they’ll learn about the mysterious valentine preserved in the Cole Site archives. The experience continues at the Storehouse, where museum educators will lead a hands-on workshop to create your own Victorian-inspired valentines—perfect to share or keep as a heartfelt keepsake.
Please plan to check in at the Cole Center 10–15 minutes before the workshop’s scheduled start time. Advanced registration is required.
The Thomas Cole National Historic Site is the former home of Hudson River School of Art founder, Thomas Cole. Located in the village of Catskill, the house, called Cedar Grove, and Cole's studio are open for tours, events, and workshops throughout the year.
