Second Saturday Workshop: Historic Patterns & Printmaking with Museum Educators

    • Sat, 03/14/2026
  • 218 Spring St, Catskill, NY 12414

Learn and make!
Join museum education staff for a hands-on printmaking workshop inspired by the decorative patterns, prints, and botanicals found throughout the historic interiors. Begin with a guided tour of the Main House, featuring Thomas Cole’s original decorative paintings and an introduction to 19th-century printmaking practices, then create your own prints in the Storehouse. Each participant will receive all materials needed to design and produce a hand-made print.
This workshop takes place in the historic Storehouse adjoining Thomas Cole’s original painting studio.
