Join Cone Zero Ceramics for a 3-hour floral plate painting workshop inspired by Emily Cole (1843–1913), “Catskill’s China Painter.” Advance registration is required. Ages: 18+

Held at Cone Zero Ceramics (111 Water St, Catskill, NY), a community ceramics school offering classes and studio access for all ages and skill levels.

This workshop is part of the Thomas Cole Site’s 2025 Second Saturdays series, featuring hands-on activities from May–December inspired by the exhibition Emily Cole: Ceramics, Flora, & Contemporary Practices (on view May 3–Nov 2, 2025).

Thomas Cole National Historic Site

The Thomas Cole National Historic Site is the former home of Hudson River School of Art founder, Thomas Cole. Located in the village of Catskill, the house, called Cedar Grove, and Cole's studio are open for tours, events, and workshops throughout the year.
