Plein-Air Still Life Painting: Flowers & Forms Inspired by Emily Cole
Immerse yourself in the beauty of the natural world with an outdoor still-life painting workshop at the historic Thomas Cole Site. Inspired by botanical artist Emily Cole, this hands-on experience begins with a guided plant identification walk led by museum educators, followed by a sketching session focused on capturing plant shapes and textures. You'll then create your own plein-air painting, surrounded by the landscapes that once inspired Cole herself.
