Thursday, June 26th, 5-7 pm: Laying Yard Management, Harvesting, and Gardening
Join us at the shiitake laying yard for a hands-on workshop on growing and managing shiitake and other mushrooms as a crop. Participants will learn about soaking, fruiting, and harvesting, as well as how to set up their own mushroom yard. The workshop also includes a look at the forest management practices behind sourcing inoculation logs, highlighting how selective harvesting supports forest health. Everyone will leave with mushrooms to take home and practical knowledge on turning this emerging crop into a potential source of income.

Thursday, July 17th, 5-7 pm: Enterprise planning and marketing
Ready to take your mushroom skills to the next level and explore turning them into a business? Join us at the Agroforestry Resource Center to learn what it takes.
