Enjoy a peaceful morning of outdoor watercolor painting with Wendy Doney at scenic Athens Riverfront Park. This beginner-friendly plein air class introduces basic watercolor techniques while encouraging participants to paint from observation in a relaxed, creative setting. Whether you're trying watercolor for the first time or rediscovering your artistic side, you'll leave with new skills and a finished painting inspired by the Hudson River landscape.
You're welcome to bring a favorite reference photo, though the river and mountain views around us will provide plenty of inspiration.
Please bring a chair, water bottle, and dress comfortably for the outdoors. All painting materials will be provided.
