Eddie Brill Stand Up Comedy Show

    • Sat, 05/02/2026
  • 44 West Bridge Street, Catskill, NY 12414

On Saturday, May 2, we’re hosting comedy legend Eddie Brill alongside his son Dan Madonia—an accomplished comic in his own right. Both are familiar faces from the Catskills Comedy Festival, and we’re expecting a standout night of laughs. Show starts at 7pm.

Eddie will also lead two comedy writing workshops on May 1 and 2. This one-day, five-hour intensive is geared toward working stand-up comedians, offering the chance to perform material, ask questions, collaborate, and receive direct feedback.

Eddie Brill is a legendary stand-up comedian, talent booker, and longtime supporter of the Catskills Comedy Festival, with a career spanning the U.S. and abroad. He spent 17 years on The Late Show with David Letterman as audience warm-up and Stand-Up Comedy Talent Coordinator, and has appeared on more than 100 TV programs worldwide, including Louie. A three-time MAC Award winner, he has performed at venues like Radio City Music Hall, produced and booked comedy globally, helped shape major festivals, and played a key role in comedy education at Emerson College. He continues to teach workshops, mentor comedians, and support charitable causes.

Dan Madonia is a Los Angeles–based stand-up comedian, actor, and writer originally from upstate New York. He has performed for diverse audiences nationwide, with appearances on SyFy and in High Times, and regularly supports the Wounded Warriors Project. With a background in music, he’s opened for bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd and Twisted Sister, and has appeared at festivals including Woodstock, Catskills, and the Los Angeles Scripted Comedy Festival. His material blends humor with thoughtful insights drawn from his own experiences.
