Cole 200 Anniversary Sail

    • Thu, 08/14/2025
  • 218 Spring St, Catskill, NY 12414

Thursday, August 14th at 7 pm

Step aboard a traditional schooner to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Thomas Cole’s first journey to Catskill—a voyage that forever changed American art. Cole’s iconic paintings of the Hudson River Valley and Catskill Mountains sparked the Hudson River School, the first major art movement in the U.S.

Experience the same inspiring landscape from the water during this special 90-minute sail, hosted by author Hudson Talbott, with a cider tasting by Greenpoint Cidery. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Thomas Cole National Historic Site.

Join us dockside for an unforgettable evening on the Hudson.
