Cattail Basketry Workshop: Plaited Cattail Vessels
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to braid a 7-strand plait and use the invisible stitch to create beautiful, functional items from cattails. This versatile technique can be used for everything from tote bags to rugs. You’ll have plenty of time to practice, and you can leave with a finished small piece or the start of a larger project to continue at home.
Tickets are $150 and include all materials, plus extra cattails and a darning needle to take home if you want to keep working.
Tickets are non-refundable, but you may transfer them to someone else. Discounts and gift cards do not apply to this workshop.
