Join us for a morning exploration of local bird life. By late May, most resident and summer breeding birds have established territories and are busy raising their young. We’ll identify species by sight and sound while learning Northeastern Indigenous bird names and folklore. The walk will pass through meadow, mature forest, and rocky creek habitats, so wear sturdy walking shoes and bring binoculars if you have them. Advance registration is required, and space is limited.
Explore the vibrant human and natural history of our region with Wild Hudson Valley, a Forest Farm and Eco Camp devoted to connecting people with the wonders of the natural world through immersive experiences in nature, history, and wild foods.
