Take part in foraging workshops, seasonal guided nature walks, Native history presentations, and forest farm tours. Upcoming events are listed on Wild Hudson Valley’s Events Calendar.
Eco Camping
Connect with nature through a weekend stay at Wild Hudson Valley’s Eco Camp! With only four campsites on the 95-acre forest farm, Eco Camp guests are guaranteed a private and personalized stay. Two campsites have furnished, glamping-style bell tents, and two sites are traditional bring-your-own tent sites. Admission to all on-site walks and workshops are included in a reservation, and guests enjoy ample amenities for a comfortable, immersive experience in nature. Visit the Eco Camp Experience to learn more and book your stay. The Eco Camp is open seasonally on weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Forest Farming
Discover fascinating and delicious wild foods through Wild Hudson Valley’s Wild Harvest Box, a monthly subscription with ingredients ranging from greens and veggies to mushrooms and berries. Husband-wife team Anna Plattner and Justin Wexler manage large-scale wild-simulated ginseng plantings, a shiitake mushroom laying yard, a one-acre diversified native fruit & nut tree orchard, and steward a wide variety of edible and medicinal wild plant populations. You can plant your own forest botanicals with Wild Hudson Valley’s ginseng and ramp seed and rootstock, available each season for fall planting.
