Saturday, August 30th 8-9:30 pm.
Join Greene Land Trust for an evening walk through the fields and forests of Brandow Point, along the banks of the Hudson River. As twilight settles in, we’ll listen for owls, the chorus of katydids, and other nocturnal sounds that bring late summer nights to life. We’ll also look to the skies, exploring the significance of the stars and moon for Northeastern Native peoples.
This family-friendly walk follows wide, gentle trails at a slow pace, with no artificial lights planned. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring a jacket for the cooler evening air.
