Join us at Meadowbrook Farm on Thursday, August 7th 5-8 pm for an evening dedicated to cut flowers, good food, and great conversation. Enjoy a delicious bite from a local food truck while learning from expert educators about soil health, planting techniques, common diseases, weed management, and agritourism. Tour the farm, hear from the farmer, and scout the garden with guidance from our IPM Coordinator. This field day is perfect for new, aspiring, and experienced growers seeking hands-on knowledge and fresh resources.
Nestled along the Catskill Creek in Leeds, NY, Meadowbrook Farm spans 120 acres and specializes in cut flowers—especially sunflowers, along with zinnias, dahlias, snapdragons, eucalyptus, and more. Known for hosting vibrant festivals, weddings, and showers, Meadowbrook was voted Greene County’s Best Wedding Venue for 2025.
The event is brought by Cornell Cooperative Extension: Columbia and Greene Counties
