The Atmospheric Music Alliance presents “slowroom,” an hour of slow music, conversation, performance, and sharing every second Friday at 27 Cafe.
David Moore performs Butterfly Gardens, a longform ambient piece for pump organ and stretched piano.
Composer and pianist David Moore gently blurs genre lines. As leader of the ensemble Bing & Ruth, he gained acclaim for his spacious, luminous compositions and continues to evolve his sound through collaboration and experimentation. Alongside four full-length albums and five EPs with the group, he has released recent collaborations with Steve Gunn and Cowboy Sadness. From his early work to his latest solo albums Butterfly Gardens and Graze the Bell, Moore’s music deepens the intimate presence at the heart of his art—blending trance-like atmospheres with melodic composition to offer a quiet, clarifying return to shared humanity.
Admission is pay-what-you-can, with donations going directly to the artists.
