Calling all volunteers and community members!
Join the Thomas Cole National Historic Site for a spring clean-up day as we work together to care for the historic grounds, gardens, and museum spaces. It’s a great opportunity to get involved, connect with others, and learn about volunteer roles such as gallery sitting and event support. After lending a hand outdoors, volunteers are invited to enjoy a complimentary visit to the museum buildings. Light lunch and beverages will be provided.
Spring clean-up activities will take place both indoors and outdoors.
A light lunch and beverages will be provided.
Volunteers can enjoy self-guided access to the museum after cleanup, available until 4 pm.
The Thomas Cole National Historic Site is the former home of Hudson River School of Art founder, Thomas Cole. Located in the village of Catskill, the house, called Cedar Grove, and Cole's studio are open for tours, events, and workshops throughout the year.
