Rip’s Rock Hike From Winter Clove Inn
Join Mountain Top Historical Society for a hike lead by George Hewitt on Saturday, September 27th 9 am - 12 pm. Begin at the Winter Clove Inn in Round Top, NY, and hike to Rip’s Rock, a breathtaking Hudson Valley overlook and the legendary spot where Rip Van Winkle slept for 20 years. Along the way, enjoy sights such as Bareback Brook, Daisy Field, pristine forest, and Indian Lookout with its sweeping views. After the hike, those interested can stop at Old Factory Brewing Company in Cairo to relax and refresh.
