Cattail Basketry Workshop at Kaaterskill Market

Join us for a hands-on, 3-hour workshop introducing the art of flat weaving with cattail leaves.
In this session, you’ll learn traditional rush weaving techniques and create a small basket using locally harvested, wild, and renewable cattail. Each participant will leave with their own finished piece. No prior experience is necessary — all skill levels are welcome!
