Co-curated by Jesse Pollock and Stella Yoon

Born in Queens, Dot Chast spent the majority of her 99 years living in Coxsackie and Athens, NY. A dedicated artist throughout her life, Dot was rarely seen without a sketchbook and remained an active member of CREATE (formerly the Greene County Council of the Arts) for nearly 40 years. She regularly participated in juried and solo exhibitions, especially throughout the Hudson Valley. Her practice spanned a wide range of media, including oil and acrylic painting, pastel, pen and ink, watercolor, and printmaking. This exhibition marks the first posthumous retrospective of her work.
