With boat launch ramps, BBQ’s, picnic tables, and a playground, the Dutchman’s Landing park at the eastern end of Main Street in Catskill is a great place to spend the day. The park has a large area for activities, and being right on the Hudson River, you can launch your boat or water craft and tour the surrounding areas from the water. Directly across from the park is the noted Olana State Historic Site, and just to the north is the Rip Van Winkle bridge.

Cornhole For A Cause & Community Festival

Join us Saturday, September 26, at Dutchman’s Landing for Cornhole 4 a Cause & Community Festival, a free community event featuring a full day of fun, entertainment, food, and family activities. All funds raised support programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. From 12–3 p.m., watch teams compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the cornhole tournament while also earning points for their Wizarding House in the House Cup competition. Starting at 3:30 p.m., the festival will feature live music, strolling entertainment, vendors, food, family activities, Diagon Alley, and more. The evening concludes with a spectacular drone show over Dutchman’s Landing at 7:30 p.m. Whether you’re competing, shopping, grabbing a bite, enjoying the entertainment, or simply spending the day with the community, there’s something for everyone. Come for the cornhole, stay for the magic, and look to the sky!

Bring your appetite to the Catskill Food Festival at Dutchman’s Landing on Saturday, October 3rd, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This community celebration features a variety of food trucks, local food vendors, live music, and shopping from artisan and specialty vendors. All set along the beautiful Hudson River waterfront. Enjoy the newly upgraded playground with accessible amenities perfect for kids and families. New this year, the festival has expanded to include non-food vendors, making it an even more enjoyable afternoon for families, friends, and visitors exploring the Great Northern Catskills.
