Northern Spy Reading Series: Paul Yoon

August 12: Paul Yoon in conversation with Danniel Schoonebeek, celebrating the release of his new novel, Etna.

Paul Yoon is the author of five works of fiction, including Snow Hunters, winner of the Young Lions Fiction Award, The Mountain, an NPR Best Book of the Year, and The Hive and the Honey, winner of The Story Prize. A Guggenheim Fellow and recipient of an Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, his stories have appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Harper’s, and The Best American Short Stories. He lives in the Hudson Valley, and his new novel, Etna, is forthcoming from Scribner in August.

Danniel Schoonebeek is the author of American Barricade and Trébuchet, a National Poetry Series selection. A co-founder of Bushel Collective and former editor of the PEN Poetry Series, his work has appeared in The New Yorker, Poetry, and Tin House.
