Gavin’s Resort & Country Inn

In 2023, we celebrated the 100th anniversary since our Inn first opened its doors. Brian and Bernadette, third-generation Innkeepers of the Gavin family since 1961, continue our legacy. Our all-inclusive package has long been a staple, encompassing accommodations, meals, activities, and events. Pool Bar open most days from 12-8 pm. We have recently expanded with “Nellie’s” in East Durham, featuring a Restaurant, Pub, Gift Shop, Bakery, and a Party Room accommodating over 60 guests. Nellie’s is a favored outdoor dining spot during the warmer months and offers two suite-accommodation units. We continuously evolve with the changing trends in the Catskills and are currently developing new concepts to engage the next generation of guests. On September 26 at 7:00 PM, the stage at the MJQ Irish Cultural Center comes alive with two powerhouse tribute bands, bringing the spirit of Texas blues and Southern rock to the Catskills.

Steady Sun Performance

Join us at The Avalon Lounge for a performance by Steady Sun. Steady Sun is the psychedelic project of Catskill, NY-based songwriter and producer Dylan Nowik. Nowik has written and performed with artists including Clairo, Black Thought, Angel Olsen, El Michels Affair, Norah Jones, and Leon Bridges, and has appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with Clairo and Black Thought. JOY is Steady Sun’s fourth album, blending psychedelic sounds with influences shaped by Nowik’s travels between his Catskill home and Los Angeles, where much of the album was recorded with producer Wayne Gordon, former head engineer at Brooklyn’s renowned Daptone Records. 8-10pm
