Celebrate Irish and Irish American culture at the 49th Annual East Durham Irish Festival, returning to East Durham over Memorial Day Weekend in 2027. One of the longest-running Irish festivals in the United States, this beloved Catskills tradition brings thousands of visitors together for a weekend filled with live Irish music, traditional dance, cultural performances, food, and family-friendly fun. The festival features multiple stages with live performances throughout the weekend, along with the opening of the historic Donegal Cottage at the Michael J. Quill Irish Cultural & Sports Centre. From traditional Irish music and dance to lively pipes and drums, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. 2027 dates, performance schedule, ticket information, and additional details will be announced as they become available. You’re invited to celebrate Irish pride and community spirit at East Durham’s 3rd St. Patrick’s Day Parade of the 21st Century on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 1 pm ! We didn’t think we could top the first year—but we did—and the 2025 parade was nothing short of epic. Now we’re gearing up to make 2026 even bigger and better. This year we are also honoring Grand Marshal Jeanne Farrell. Mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and stay tuned for exciting details as we prepare for another unforgettable day of music, marching bands, floats, and festive fun in East Durham!
Be sure to have your costumes ready, each year we are blown away by so many creative costumes. We give out a variety of prizes and trophies for the best costume in multiple categories. As always, live music is the highlight of the night and keeps the party going well into the witching hours! Trunk-or-Treat – guests, locals, and our seasonal campers all come together to provide a unique trick or treat experience set up right by our pavilion. This event is FREE and open to the public – you do not need to be a resort guest to attend. There’s more to do than just trick or treat, we have tables set up with all sorts of fun Halloween games and crafts, pumpkin carving, hayrides, bounce house, and free refreshments. There’s a costume contest for the littles, and even a costume contest and doggy parade for our furry friends! Don’t forget while you are here, take a tour of the on-site Haunted House, and grab a pumpkin for carving before you check out. You can stay for the weekend in one of our rooms with a meal package – featuring home-cooked meals throughout your stay, or you can stop by for just the Halloween party or Trunk-or-Treat!
