Learn the basics of indigo dyeing using a ready-made kit in this introductory workshop.

Explore simple resist techniques with rubber bands, clothespins, and binder clips, and experiment with multiple dips to create deeper shades of blue. Each participant will receive a pair of flour sack dish towels to dye and is welcome to bring additional natural fiber items (cotton, linen, or silk; maximum 20% synthetic). Wear clothing that can get stained.
