It’s the most wonderful time of the year… the Annual Apple Bake-Off, of course!

Join us at Left Bank Ciders on November 14th, 5-8pm. For the third year in a row, we’re inviting all bakers, cakers, and makers to dream up their most beautiful, delectable, imaginative, traditional, wacky, and delicious creations. Wild cards are welcome! One year, someone even brought Jell-O (that was me), and it was awesome. Savory entries are welcome, too. Anything goes!

Our friend Kevin Clark of Rose Hill Farm will be on hand with Pomona’s Gifts, his incredible apple display celebrating the amazing diversity of our favorite fruit.

We like to hand-pick and forage as much fruit as possible but also love to support local farms, with 100% of our ingredients coming from New York State. Join us at Bailiwick Animal Park on Saturday, October 31, from noon to 5 PM for Boo at the Zoo, an afternoon of Halloween fun! Enjoy a variety of activities, including: 10 trick-or-treat stations with costumed characters Free face painting Costume contest at 3 PM Special appearance by the Headless Horseman at 4 PM Halloween and fall photo spots Food truck Pony rides Visits with the animals throughout the park Boo at the Zoo is also the final day of the 2026 season, so come celebrate Halloween with us before the park closes for winter! First Friday Fall Festival & Main Street Revitalization Ribbon Cutting

Join us on Friday, November 6, from 5–8 PM for a Fall Festival celebrating the Village of Catskill’s local merchants and newly revitalized Main Street! The ribbon cutting will be at 5:30 at the head of Main Street between Catskill Chocolate Co and Loomie’s Luncheonette. Main Street will be closed from the upper Main Street & Water to the red light from 5-9pm. Live entertainment by Lex Grey and The Urban Pioneers Mr. Twisty will be making balloon animals Puppy Pub Crawl Pumpkin rolling contest Silent Disco 50/50 raffles Merchant passports and swag bags: When you purchase a signature drink, your name goes into a door prize for a merchant gift card Merchants & restaurants will have specials/discounts.
