One of America’s oldest single family owned hotels. Winter Clove Inn first welcomed summer naturalists, sightseers and tourist in 1838. Nearly 200 years and five generations later the Whitcomb family continues to own and operate the resort. While there have been many renovations, expansions and improvements over the years, today’s visitors are still greeted by the same natural beauty and relaxing atmosphere that attracted the first guest in the early 1800’s.
