The Trojan Paddling Race

Athens, NY

If last year’s Trojan race was the Iliad, this year is the Odyssey! Paddlers start in either Selkirk or Kingston, NY, for a 20–22-mile tidal-current-supported race finishing in Athens. Open to most paddle or rowing craft, with simple categories and substantial cash prizes. Note: The Hudson River can get bumpy, with changing winds and wakes from freighters and barges.
