The Kaaterskill

The Kaaterskill is a 40-acre estate in the Catskill Mountains, with beautiful mountain views, the Kaaterskill Creek, our heart-shaped pond reflecting the mountains, animals, and an extensive network of trails that offer a wonderful way to experience the native flora and wildlife of the region.

The Hudson River School was born from this very Catskill landscape, and many views at The Kaaterskill still echo the scenery found in those paintings. That connection makes the property especially suited to painting groups, workshops, and artist retreats.

The Kaaterskill has also become a platform for creative work, from fashion editorials and photography to film and artistic projects. We are always open to collaborations with artists, photographers, filmmakers, and other creative teams who feel a connection to the property and the region.
