The Athens Pool
Founded in 1969 by local families, Athens Pool is a nonprofit community swimming pool in the Village of Athens that welcomes members from Athens and surrounding communities and provides a safe, inclusive setting for recreation, health, and community.
The facility features two pools, a small snack bar, and Red Cross-certified lifeguards. The season runs from June 27 through Labor Day, with the pool open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting. Lap Swim is offered from 10 a.m. to noon, and the kiddie pool is open from noon to 7 p.m.
Guests may visit for a daily fee, with a limit of five guest visits per season. Wednesdays are reserved for members only.
