Farmers, forest landowners, and technical service providers are invited to learn about forest farming, an agroforestry practice that integrates crops beneath the forest canopy to build diversity and resilience. This hands-on outdoor workshop will cover forest farming principles, design considerations, benefits, and challenges. Held at the 142-acre Siuslaw Model Forest, the training includes walking forest roads and trails, so participants should be prepared to spend the day outdoors. The workshop is free, with support from Interlace Commons and the Edwards Mother Earth Foundation. 10am-3pm
