Greenville Disc Golf Course

Find your line through the Stone Walls of the Great Northern Catskills at the Greenville Disc Golf Course.

The Greenville Disc Golf Course offers a unique disc golf experience surrounded by the natural beauty of the Great Northern Catskills. This volunteer-led project, sponsored by Community Partners of Greenville, winds through George Vanderbilt Park’s wooded areas, stone walls, tree-lined fairways and scenic landscapes near Basic Creek.

The course features seasonal layouts designed to change with the landscape. During the summer, the course is primarily played through the woods, creating a more technical experience among the trees. Once the surrounding farm fields are harvested, the fall/winter layout opens up additional areas of Vanderbilt Park, offering players a different perspective, views of vibrant fall foliage and a new way to experience the course throughout the year.

The course has also hosted competitive play, including the PDGA-sanctioned Stone Wall Classic, which showcased the winter layout and helped establish Greenville as a destination for disc golf tournaments in the Great Northern Catskills. The course also hosts disc golf activities, including leagues, clinics, and tournaments.

Disc golf is free to play, and loaner discs are available through the Greenville Public Library, making it easy for visitors to give the sport a try. Loaner Discs are also available at The Greenville Arms 1889 Inn which is also home to an espresso bar and in house chocolaterie, the perfect sweet treat after a round of disc golf.
