Escarpment Trail – Windham Trailhead
23.9 mile trail and makes a great 3 day back backing trip
Within the Catskill Forest Preserve the escarpment trail is part of the Long Path with challenging terrain and some of the most scenic vistas in the Great Northen Catskills. The highest point on the trail is on the summit of Blackhead Mtn at 3940′.
Access from NY State Route 23 in East Windham or at Schutt Road just before the entrance to North Lake State Campground.
