Bridge Street Theatre, 44 W. Bridge Street, Catskill, NY 12414
Experience this compelling play at Bridge Street Theatre, a razor-sharp exploration of obsession, identity, and the fragile bonds of chosen family set against the backdrop of opera’s soaring passions. When two friends—one a flamboyant opera aficionado, the other quietly unraveling—clash over love and betrayal, their witty banter builds to a powerful confrontation that reveals the cost of living for art versus living for truth. Both funny and deeply moving, the play asks: how far will we go to protect the illusions that define us? TICKETS & MORE INFO

“Building the Wall”
Bridge Street Theatre, 44 W. Bridge Street, Catskill, NY 12414
Directed by BST board member Brent Buell, this gripping political thriller imagines the consequences of anti-immigration policies in the aftermath of a national crisis. Set inside a Texas prison, the play follows a historian’s interview with a former federal prison administrator awaiting sentencing for his role in a devastating tragedy. Tense and thought-provoking, Building the Wall examines power, responsibility, and the fragility of democratic institutions, challenging audiences to consider how fear shapes policy and how ordinary people become complicit in extraordinary events.
