YMCA Plunge for a Purpose at Sleepy Hollow Lake

On Saturday, November 28th, the Greene County YMCA invites the community to Sleepy Hollow Lake in Athens for the Polar Plunge for a Purpose, a chilly, fun, and feel-good way to kick off the holiday season.

Every plunge supports the YMCA’s mission of Membership for All, helping make sure every member of our community has the chance to be healthy, active, and connected. Whether you’re a seasoned cold water enthusiast or jumping in for the very first time, this is a morning full of cheering, laughter, and community spirit alongside neighbors who are just as brave (or just as crazy) as you are.

Registration is $55 for the plunge and a commemorative sweatshirt when you sign up before November 5, or $30 for the plunge only. To register and learn more, scan the QR code on the event flyer, visit cdymca.org, or call the Greene County YMCA at 518-731-7529.
