Women Artists of the Northern Catskills: Past, Present, and Future

Join us at Mountaintop Historical Society at 2 pm for the opening of the exhibition “Women Artists of the Northern Catskills: Past, Present, and Future”.

The exhibition opens with a lecture by Amanda Malmstrom, Associate Curator at the Thomas Cole National Historic Site, titled “From Cliff to Clover: Women Paint in the Catskills”. It highlights 19th Century women artists, including Sarah Cole, Harriet Cany Peale, Susan Barstow, and Emily Cole, whose work shaped the Catskills’ cultural and artistic landscape.
