Windham Fine Arts Presents: Autumn in the Catskills

Windham Fine Arts welcomes the season with Autumn in the Catskills, an exhibition of new works by Mireille Duchesne celebrating the Catskills’ ever-changing beauty. Through a kaleidoscope of color, Mireille captures the rhythms of autumn, exploring the season’s shifting light, landscapes, and atmosphere.

Born in Normandy and inspired by the landscapes of Europe, Africa, and the United States, Mireille brings an impressionistic sensitivity to place through color, shadow, and light. Her paintings invite viewers to experience the emotional character of the landscape, where rolling mountains, reflective waters, and changing skies become more than scenery—they become a journey inward.

The exhibition celebrates the enduring beauty of the Catskills and invites a deeper connection to the natural world.

Located on Main Street in Windham, Windham Fine Arts features original paintings, photography, and sculpture by more than 65 artists. Gallery hours are 12:00–5:00, with appointments available for commissioned artwork, in-home art placement, and hanging services.
