Join workshop leader Julie H. Goon to create your own decorative candle jar using recycled glass and locally sourced pressed flowers. Perfect for adding a unique, handmade touch to your home, this workshop takes place in the historic Storehouse adjacent to Thomas Cole’s original painting studio. All ages are welcome.

Julie H. Goon is a lifelong crafter with a passion for florals, history, and the arts. She enjoys thrifting, antiquing, and transforming everyday objects into one-of-a-kind home décor.

Thomas Cole National Historic Site

The Thomas Cole National Historic Site is the former home of Hudson River School of Art founder, Thomas Cole. Located in the village of Catskill, the house, called Cedar Grove, and Cole's studio are open for tours, events, and workshops throughout the year.
