Rats Nest Run-In

Rev up for the Rats Nest Run-In on August 12–15, 2027 returning to the Blackthorne Resort in East Durham. Celebrate your passion for pre-1972 Hot Rods, Rat Rods, and custom vehicles at one of the Northeast’s biggest and best Hot Rod Festivals with food trucks, Martini Hour, Beard and Model Car Contests, Mud Trucks, and the iconic Pin-Up Girl Contest, all with exciting cash prizes!

See hundreds of unique hot rods and custom vehicles, catch the action in the legendary burnout pit, and browse a Hot Rod and Antique Flea Market featuring vendors and automotive finds. Two stages keep the music going throughout the weekend, with tribute bands, fireworks, drive-in movies on the Jumbo Tron, and special events adding to the excitement.

With lodging located on site at Blackthorne Resort, the festival makes it easy to turn your car-show weekend into a Great Northern Catskills getaway, with lodging, camping, dining and a full bar all on site.
