Classes & Workshops

Join us on Saturday, September 19, 6-8pm for an afternoon of painting, sipping, and creativity!

For $35 per person, choose one of three Storybrook Hollow resin figurines to paint: The Sleeping Dragon, The Little Owl, or The Hedgehog.

All supplies are provided, including the figurine, paints, and brushes. No artistic experience is required. Bring an idea or simply pick up a brush and see what you create!

Even the bar itself is part of the experience, as our castle boasts a rustic stone tavern affectionately known as the Fuggly Duckling (named for the “fuggle”, a distinctive brewing hop). The castle hosts a series of holiday-themed experiences throughout the year and is available for bookings of weddings, showers, birthdays, and other special events. Tent Talk/Forest Walk – Forest Farming Fundamentals

Farmers, forest landowners, and technical service providers are invited to learn about forest farming, an agroforestry practice that integrates crops beneath the forest canopy to build diversity and resilience. This hands-on outdoor workshop will cover forest farming principles, design considerations, benefits, and challenges. Held at the 142-acre Siuslaw Model Forest, the training includes walking forest roads and trails, so participants should be prepared to spend the day outdoors. The workshop is free, with support from Interlace Commons and the Edwards Mother Earth Foundation. 10am-3pm
