Outdoor Mushroom Farming Series – Part 1 at Cornell’s Agroforestry Resource Center
On Wednesday, April 29 from 5:00 to 7:30 PM at the Agroforestry Resource Center in Acra, NY, join Cornell Cooperative Extension for a hands‑on introduction to outdoor mushroom cultivation in the Great Northern Catskills.
Learn the basics of growing shiitake and other mushroom species using simple materials and techniques.
Participants will inoculate their own shiitake log to take home, making this workshop a great first step toward small‑scale mushroom production. Part 1 of a three‑part series designed to help you develop the skills to grow mushrooms on your own land.
Fee
$25.00 per person per class or $60.00 for full 3-part series
