Join Northern Spy in welcoming acclaimed authors Jim Shepard and Karen Shepard, a contemporary literature power couple. Jim is the author of eight novels and six story collections, including The Book of Aron and Like You’d Understand, Anyway, and has received numerous literary honors, including the Sophie Brody Medal for Jewish Literature, National Book Award finalist distinction and the Story Prize. Karen, a Chinese-American writer from New York City, is the author of four novels and the story collection Kiss Me Someone, with fiction published in The Atlantic, Tin House, The Paris Review, and Ploughshares. The Shepards live in Williamstown, where they have both taught writing and literature at Williams College.

All readings start at 6:30pm.
