Master Gardener Spring Seedling Sale: Garden‑Tested Picks
On Saturday, May 16 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Agroforestry Resource Center in Acra, join Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Master Gardener Volunteers for the annual Spring Seedling Sale featuring their Garden‑Tested Picks—plants proven to thrive in Columbia and Greene County and perfect for gardeners exploring the Great Northern Catskills.
The sale includes native perennials that support pollinators and local ecosystems, along with vegetable and herb varieties selected for flavor, resilience, disease resistance, and productivity. These are the same plants Master Gardeners grow and recommend year after year. A full plant list will be available ahead of time to help you plan your visit.
Please note: no plant swaps or pre‑orders are permitted, and sales begin promptly at 9:00 AM. Come early for the best selection. All proceeds support local Master Gardener educational programs.
