Wednesday, June 11th, 10 am - 12 pm
Bring the kids for a guided walk through our forest farm’s fields and woods, where we’ll spot local plants and wildlife and reflect on how the Lenape once gathered food and medicine, fashioned tools, and built, hunted, and fished here. We’ll also explore where Lenape communities live today and the history behind their journeys. After the walk, families can stay to picnic and free-play. (Parents must remain on site; this is not a drop-off program.) Advance registration is required.
Explore the vibrant human and natural history of our region with Wild Hudson Valley, a Forest Farm and Eco Camp devoted to connecting people with the wonders of the natural world through immersive experiences in nature, history, and wild foods.
