Experience a first look at the future Cortina Connector Trail, a planned section of the Hunter Regional Trails (HRT) network, during a guided community walk along the trail in Tannersville.
Led by nature guide Nancy Allen and members of the Hunter Area Trail Committee, this easy 1.5-mile out-and-back walk will introduce participants to the growing HRT trail system and highlight the vision for a 9-mile trail corridor connecting Kaaterskill Falls with the Village of Hunter.
The walk follows a gently rolling forest floor through hemlock groves and old logging roads, offering an opportunity to explore the natural landscape and learn more about the development of this future trail connection. The guided walk will take place on the western section of the Cortina Connector from Clum Hill Road on August 10th @ 10am.
PLEASE RSVP by emailing hunterregionaltrails@gmail.com or calling Michelle at 518-586-6871, Ext. 1. Meeting location will be provided and determined based on the number of participants. (Rain Date: August 13th | 10am)
