Greene County's America 250 Celebration
This summer the Village of Catskill will hold a special celebration for America 250.
Friday, July 3 – America 250 Ceremony & Celebration
Starting at 3 PM, Main Street in Catskill will be closed for the celebration. At 5 PM, a ceremony will feature the dedication of a REV 250 plaque, the filling of a time capsule, color guard, a gun salute, cannon firing, flag folding, and performances by Meeghan Darling.
From 6–9 PM, enjoy sidewalk sales, outdoor cafés, exhibits, children’s activities, live music by Second Chance and fellow musicians, food trucks, and demonstrations from the local vendors on Main Street. Come for a festive, patriotic American celebration as we come together to honor our nation with music, community spirit, and red, white, and blue pride!
