Gavin’s Resort & Country Inn

In 2023, we celebrated the 100th anniversary since our Inn first opened its doors. Brian and Bernadette, third-generation Innkeepers of the Gavin family since 1961, continue our legacy. Our all-inclusive package has long been a staple, encompassing accommodations, meals, activities, and events. Pool Bar open most days from 12-8 pm. We have recently expanded with “Nellie’s” in East Durham, featuring a Restaurant, Pub, Gift Shop, Bakery, and a Party Room accommodating over 60 guests. Nellie’s is a favored outdoor dining spot during the warmer months and offers two suite-accommodation units. We continuously evolve with the changing trends in the Catskills and are currently developing new concepts to engage the next generation of guests. Halloween Weekend

Be sure to have your costumes ready, each year we are blown away by so many creative costumes. We give out a variety of prizes and trophies for the best costume in multiple categories. As always, live music is the highlight of the night and keeps the party going well into the witching hours! Trunk-or-Treat – guests, locals, and our seasonal campers all come together to provide a unique trick or treat experience set up right by our pavilion. This event is FREE and open to the public – you do not need to be a resort guest to attend. There’s more to do than just trick or treat, we have tables set up with all sorts of fun Halloween games and crafts, pumpkin carving, hayrides, bounce house, and free refreshments. There’s a costume contest for the littles, and even a costume contest and doggy parade for our furry friends! Don’t forget while you are here, take a tour of the on-site Haunted House, and grab a pumpkin for carving before you check out. You can stay for the weekend in one of our rooms with a meal package – featuring home-cooked meals throughout your stay, or you can stop by for just the Halloween party or Trunk-or-Treat!
